Avadesign has revealed their latest 70-meter concept by James Edmund van der Merwe that hopes to make an impression with its strong and clean-cut exterior lines along with eco-sustainable technology. With the superstructure's main aim to create a yacht that would be as "green" as possible, the New Diamond superyacht would be built of aluminum with four decks integrating low fuel consumption and low emission technology. Equipped with hybrid propulsion system, two diesel engines and two electric engines coupled with gas turbines, enabling the New Diamond to cruise with respectable energy usage and economic savings.
